Transputec Bot Studio

Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026

These terms cover the use of Transputec Bot Studio (“the service”), provided by Transputec Limited, company number 03443568. By using the service you agree to them.

Using the assistant

Assistants answer from information published on an organisation’s own website. They are automated, can make mistakes and do not give personal legal, medical, financial or safety advice. Check anything important, including prices, with the organisation before you rely on it. Do not use an assistant to harass anyone, attempt to break it, extract private information or try to change how it works.

Using the Studio

Studio access is by invitation. Keep your access token and password private; you are responsible for what is done with them. Only add your own website, or a website you have permission to use, and only add information you have the right to share. You must not use the service to collect personal data you have no lawful basis for, or to mislead people into thinking they are talking to a human.

Plans and limits

Each plan has monthly chat, page and assistant limits shown in the Studio. We may pause an assistant that is abused or that exceeds fair use.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you provide. You allow us to process it to run your assistant. We may remove content that is unlawful or breaks these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features with reasonable notice where we can.

Liability

Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, the service is provided without warranties, and Transputec’s liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on an assistant’s answers.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy notice.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
